Program Coordinator — WA Data Science Innovation Hub
January 2026 to present
Running AI education across Western Australia — I build the curriculum and activities, run workshops and bootcamps for students and teachers, and work with robotics including the Reachy Mini to make abstract ideas something learners can see, touch and interact with.

- Designing a teacher professional development program so classroom teachers can deliver AI sessions independently.
- Build the platform and resources behind the program — a Blockly coding environment, an AI impact calculator, ethics case studies and supporting industry research.
Curriculum Lead & Facilitator — Curtin University
January 2025 to July 2026
Lead creator and facilitator of the Gen AI Bootcamps, a Department of Social Services funded community program teaching autistic high schoolers (13–18) industry-relevant generative AI skills. Delivered through Curtin University's Autism Academy (AASQA) in partnership with WADSIH and others.
- Developed all curriculum content and materials, including purpose-built online frameworks designed around interest-based learning and participant safety.
- Recruited and managed mentors, and sourced contractors for wellbeing activities.
- Organised industry speakers and coordinated with location managers and partners across multiple disciplines.
Disability Support Worker — Self-employed
November 2021 to present
Sole trader supporting clients with a range of disabilities to access and participate in their community.
- Grew the business fivefold on personal recommendations alone.
- Handle scheduling, advocacy, invoicing and financial management.
- Support clients, parents and carers to interview and train prospective support workers.
Graduate Engineer — Village Energy
March 2024 to December 2025
Village Energy is a Perth-founded energy technology company working on distributed energy resources — rooftop solar, batteries and EVs. I worked on their Home Energy Gateway, which connects to and controls smart inverters to manage solar production against standards and dynamic pricing.
- Developed, tested and improved the app and the way it controls the Gateway to automate solar production.
- Designed and built automations for solar production management.
- Reviewed and implemented CSIP-AUS standards through sales and management of the Gateway.
- Managed customer service and customer success.
- Tested, compiled and analysed data to prioritise team effort across customer success and software development.
- Worked directly with installers, inverter manufacturers, energy retailers and partners.
Senior Manager — Swimming on the Spectrum
January 2021 to June 2024
Swimming on the Spectrum runs inclusive one-on-one and group aquatic sessions for people with autism and other disabilities. I was involved in every part of building the business, which grew from 7 clients to more than 200 regular clients and won industry recognition. The role spanned several hats:
- Senior Instructor — managed personnel and team organisation, including contractor and client scheduling, and designed and implemented multiple student programs.
- Head of Training — built the entire training program and resource set for new instructors, developed and delivered professional development courses, and researched program improvements.
- Health and Safety Officer — ran risk assessments, managed mitigation and delivered safety briefings.
- Administration and software — handled finance management and moved processes from paper to software automation, collaborated with healthcare providers, local government and media, organised school-holiday and adult programs, and managed service agreements and IP.
Master Teacher & Deck Supervisor — Seadragonz Swim School
July 2017 to December 2022
Promoted to Master Teacher in 8 months — a step that usually takes two years.
- Updated the training program and ran professional development for teachers.
- Interviewed prospective teachers on the job.
- Supervised shifts, managed instructors and resolved customer queries.

- GoShowcase Mid West 2026, Geraldton — presented to around 700 primary and secondary students, with Reachy Mini as an interactive robot co-host.
- SwimSchoolers West Seminar, October 2018 — speaker.
- "Empowering Girls in Maths" — a workshop connecting Year 9 maths to AI careers.
